A two-person tent, a sleeping bag and a self-inflating sleep mat, all in one go. Pick your sleeping bag colour and zip side, and that’s the only decision you need to make. No wandering the aisles wondering if the mat fits the tent. (It does. So does a second one, if you bring a mate.)

The tent: KingCamp Holiday II
A simple two-person dome that goes up with two poles and packs down to 50 x 13cm, so it fits in the boot with room left for the chilly bin. The 3000mm waterproof fly and taped seams handle a wet night, and the mesh inner keeps the bugs out while the air gets in. Storage pockets and a lantern hook inside mean your torch isn’t lost in the bottom of your bag at 2am.

The sleeping bag: KingCamp Oasis 250
A roomy rectangular bag with 250g/m² hollow fibre fill, comfortable down to about 12°C. That makes it a spring, summer and autumn bag, which is exactly when festivals happen. It unzips flat into a quilt, and a left-zip and a right-zip bag zip together into a double.

The sleep mat: KingCamp Classic Light
Open the valve and the foam inflates it for you, so there’s no pump and no puffing. It has a built-in pillow, so you can leave the rolled-up jumper at home, and it rolls down to 29 x 17cm.
