The Mondraker Thundra X is an e-hardtail built for getting places, on the road and off it. This is the 2023 model, and it comes ready for daily life with front and rear lights, alloy mudguards, a kickstand and a rear rack rated to 25 kg.

A Shimano STEPS EP600 motor runs off a 720Wh battery built into the frame, and a 100mm RockShox fork takes the sting out of rough roads. Tan-wall Maxxis Grifter tyres finish the look. It weighs 23.8 kg. One honest note: the battery isn't removable, so you'll want a power point near where you park it.

Good for riders who want range and practicality over trail thrills. Lights, guards and a rack all come standard, so the only thing left to add is a reason to go the long way home.
