The Ascendor Pro is a hybrid midlayer for cold days when you're working hard. Rab have teamed warm, hard-wearing Thermic Pro fleece with a stretchy, wind-resistant softshell, and put each one where it does the most good. The softshell sits where bulk gets in the way, like under your helmet or pack, and where you need to breathe, like under the arms. The fleece keeps the rest of you warm. It's built for ski touring, ice climbing and steep approaches with a heavy pack, and it works as a warm layer or as your outer on a hard climb.

Rab list both the fabric and the finished hoody as free of fluorocarbons (PFAS).

Greater than 50% recycled materials

Rab put the total recycled content at 72% by weight (worked out on a men's medium).
