Rab made the Rival from a tough mid-weight cotton and elastane fabric that breathes, stretches when you high-step onto a boulder, and has been enzyme-washed so it feels soft and lived-in from day one. There are six pockets: two open hand pockets, two button-fastened back pockets and a big cargo pocket on each thigh. They're a regular fit with a 12-inch leg, a YKK zip fly and belt loops, plus an inner hanging loop so they can dry on a hook between trips. Good for summer travel, easy tramps, a day at the crag or the pub after.
