The Xenair Alpine Light is for days when you're moving, stopping and moving again, and can't be bothered peeling layers on and off. Rab fill it with PrimaLoft Gold Active+ synthetic insulation that's lighter in the hot spots to help you regulate your temperature, and wrap it in a breathable Pertex Quantum Air shell. Use it as your outer on a fast summer hike, or as a warm midlayer when it cools off. The hood fits under a helmet, the sleeves are cut for climbing and scrambling, and the inner chest pocket doubles as a stuff sack with a harness loop.
