Salomon say it features a seamless construction with a welded upper for maximum comfort. The foldable and adjustable heel makes it easy to adapt the shoe to your needs. They are a serious company so they probably do!

Whether on soft or hard surfaces, the Tech Sandal's Contagrip® outsole will provide you with all the grip you need, and the Energy Cell midsole will provide optimal cushioning. Contagrip® has a little R in it so it must be true!
