2. Safety Information

Your safety and the safety of others are paramount. Always adhere to the following safety guidelines:

• Adult Supervision: Never leave children unattended in or around the pool. Adult supervision is required at all times.
• Ladder Use: Always use a proper pool ladder for entry and exit. Do not jump or dive into the pool.
• Water Depth: The pool is not deep enough for diving. Serious injury can result.
• Chemicals: Handle pool chemicals according to manufacturer's instructions. Keep them out of reach of children.
• Electrical Safety: Ensure all electrical equipment (e.g., filter pumps) is properly grounded and installed by a qualified electrician, following local regulations.
• Clear Area: Keep the area around the pool clear of obstacles and ensure adequate space for safe movement.
• Inspect Before Use: Before each use, inspect the pool for any signs of damage, leaks, or wear. Do not use if damaged.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

In New Zealand, an above-ground pool or a spa pool that can hold 400mm or more of water requires a physical barrier to restrict access by unsupervised young children. The barrier must be at least 1.2m high and have no gaps greater than 100mm, with vertical palings and self-latching gates that open away from the pool. The pool area needs to be free of climbable objects like furniture or plants that could be used to bypass the fence. Please ensure that before installing a pool on your property it complies with these regulations.
