Scarpa Ribelle TRK GTX Women's Trekking Boots - Ceramic

Scarpa's multi-use women's boot for long treks, backpacking trips and via ferrata days. The leather is water-repellent Perwanger, the sort that earns its keep over years rather than seasons, and the sock-style construction wraps the foot so there is less of a break-in argument to have. Underfoot the sole is dynamic enough to keep the walk smooth and natural over distance. It is a proper boot with proper weight to it. If you want something light for an afternoon loop, look at the Rush range instead.

The GORE-TEX technology in this boot is PFC-free, and is tested to hold its performance over a long product life rather than a short one.

• Roll Trk sole with a Vibram Tront compound outsole for grip and durability

No crampon compatibility here, and that is on purpose. The softer sole trades it away for lightness and a better walk.
